Q: How long have you been in education?
A: 11 years - as a teacher, teacher coach, education nonprofit director, and district director of staffing, including five states and eight districts (ranging from around 1,000 to 55,000 students).
Q: What do you think is the biggest challenge facing education leaders today?
A: Truly being able to meet the needs of all students at the same time, balancing their own unique individual needs alongside standards to ensure they all receive a quality and equitable education (often with lots of mandates and limited resources).
Q: Why do you read Education Dive?
A: I find it's the best way to stay up on what's happening in the education space with limited time. I like that there's always a breadth of topics covered efficiently, with links to read more.
